THE GORE® GROUP: HISTORY, PROPERTIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
When Roy Plunkett discovered polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in 1938, he had no inkling of the extent to which he would have revolutionised the world around him. One day, he happened to open a new container of tetrafluoroethylene gas and nothing came out. He weighed it to ensure that it was full. He cut the open container in two parts and found a white powder when he expected to find gas. That powder was PTFE, polymerised by the tetrafluoroethylene gas. From the moment it was discovered till now, PTFE has been used for a myriad of different applications: automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, computing, electronic, medical, to quote but a few.

THE GORE® FILTER APPLIED TO YOUR DULEVO SWEEPER

Thanks to over 30 years' experience in the sweeping of industrial and urban environments and to a particulate filtration system already widely tried and tested and of proven quality, Dulevo - through its cooperation with GORE® - has quite simply added prestige and quality to the prestige and quality that has always distinguished it.
The application of this innovative type of filter (available on all industrial and road models, from model 1100 to model 5000) guarantees:

• minimum filter maintenance. The filtering surface is completely impenetrable to particulate matter: self-cleaning even in the event of a total lack of maintenance;
• over 99% filtration of PM10 particulate matter. Dulevo and GORE® technology reachs filtration standards for PM10, PM5, PM2.5 and PM1 considered impossible to achieve;
• long-lasting filtering quality over time. PTFE enables the filtering quality of the machine to be maintained absolutely intact over time, leaving the particulate matter outside of the membrane;
• better standard of cleaning. A 35% increase in the air flow of your sweeper ensures improved suction of particulate matter and light waste;
• total resistance to external agents. Water, oil, vegetable and animal fat and chemical agents are no longer a threat to the top performance of your Dulevo sweeper;
• useful life of the filter guaranteed without limits for 5 years. Even if used in extremely dusty environments, the GORE® filter still has an unlimited guarantee of 5 years.

The patented mechanical-suction-filtering system adopted on the DULEVO sweeper, already renowned for its fine and ultrafine particle filtering properties, has now been perfected thanks to the exclusive application of GORE® filters and it confirms itself as the only one able to guarantee the absolute damping of PM10 particles in urban and industrial environments.
